Happy 99th birthday to Sir David Attenborough—a true living legend whose voice, vision, and passion for the natural world have inspired me and millions around the globe.

This mural concept is a tribute to him, envisioned to one day adorn a wall here on the Southern Mornington Peninsula. The design features Sir David surrounded by endemic flora and fauna unique to this region—a celebration of biodiversity, conservation, and the quiet power of connection to place.

Currently being championed by the incredible Josie Jones, the hope is to bring this piece to life as a permanent reminder of the beauty that surrounds us—and the people who’ve dedicated their lives to protecting it.

I look forward to developing the concept further and, hopefully, one day painting it for the community.
