Custom Mural for Nick’s Corrugated Man Cave

This bold, stylised portrait was created for Nick’s man cave, inspired by a mural he saw while travelling through Vietnam. Due to intellectual property limitations, we couldn’t replicate the original, so I designed a unique version just for him—capturing the essence while making it our own.

While portraiture isn’t typically my focus—mainly because of the precision it demands—I took this as an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone. The textured, corrugated surface presented a unique challenge but also gave me the freedom to blend realism with my signature stylised approach. The result is a striking piece that pushed my boundaries and marked a confident first step into large-scale portrait work.

Nick asked for both of the walls to be linked together thematically and aesthetically, showing the character holding a cigarette with flames and glowies.
